I think that the company that purchased the rights had modest watches like yours built, bearing the Waltham name, sometime around the 1960s and maybe later (and possibly in the late 1950s). The rights to use the "Waltham" name on watches marketed in the U.S. They were made after watch production at Waltham ceased in the mid-to-late 1950s.
